CHAMPIONING SENIOR SPORTS
Enhancing opportunities for senior citizens to stay physically active, reducing the risk of illness by participating in sports activities.
MCSSA strives to assist seniors to remain independent, increase morale, camaraderie and self esteem, improving quality for an enduring life.
Registration is now open for the Fall 2023 MCSSA Softball Leagues: Fall 2023 MCSSA Softball Registration
The registration deadline is Friday, September 1. Registrations received after that date will result in a $20 late fee. It is possible that MCSSA may not be able to accept late registrations if maximum roster spots have been filled. Please register before the deadline!
In previous years we accepted payment by check as an option, but we strongly recommend that you avoid that method of payment, if possible. The postal service has lost as much as 5% of the checks mailed to MCSSA over the past year.
If you have not already done so this year, registrants must complete and submit the following self-assessment: MCSSA Softball Skill Self Evaluation which can be found on this website. Registration is not complete until the self-assessment is received.
The Wednesday morning Co-Rec League has changed to a 70+ draft league this year (40+ for women). Previously male participants in the Co-Rec league for the Spring 2023, who are under the age of 70 are grandfathered in and may register for Co-Rec. Rosters will remain unchanged from the Spring, but amended, where necessary by the commissioner who will add new registrants to teams based on needs, and those not returning from the Spring Season.
